My birthday is in a few days and as a gift from my favorite wife (LOL!) I attended a 1.5-day rod building class hosted by Mudhole. I had NO clue what to expect! Click here to check out my excitement in this video before the class started.
In day 1 of the class, I built my first custom rod!! The experience was fun – some parts frustrating but with practice I know I will get this down! The instructors were all very patient. I found a new hobby and potentially a new side hustle. I am excited about repairing some of my older rods.
